Rabbi Prof. Michael J. Broyde is an esteemed scholar at the intersection of law, religion, and ethics. A prominent figure in Jewish law, he offers unique insights by blending profound religious perspectives with rigorous legal analysis. His diverse research spans family law, bioethics, religious freedom, and expertise in Jewish legal arbitration and mediation.
Holding a juris doctor from New York University School of Law, Rabbi Prof. Broyde clerked for Judge Leonard I. Garth of the Third Circuit Court of Appeals.
As an ordained rabbi from Yeshiva University (yoreh yoreh and yadin yadin), he served on the Beth Din of America and was considered for the position of Chief Rabbi of the United Hebrew Congregations of Great Britain and the Commonwealth in 2012.
